Early Voting Has Begun!

Mail in ballots have been delivered to residents across ANC 5E04! If you have received your ballot, you can vote now by sending your completed ballot to the D.C. Board of Elections through a USPS mailbox, or by dropping it in one of the ballot boxes around town.

Early voting centers open on Oct 26 through Nov 1 between 8:30am-7pm, see details here.

2026: I'm running for re-election!

And just like that (Huma's version)...I'm running for re-election for the role of Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner for 5E04!

I’m so proud of everything we’ve been able to advocate for and accomplish in my role as commissioner over the last four (!!) years. From advocating for and successfully getting District agencies to make improvements to that keep our streets safer and cleaner to supporting new businesses in our community, we have made a lot of progress in making our neighborhood and District safer and greener. And I know we have a lot more work to do here.

I'm overjoyed by all the support I've received so far, and I look forward to meeting folks in the neighborhood in the days and weeks to come to hear directly on the issues that matter to you the most!
